How 3G coverage works

You can check to see if you are in a 3G coverage zone by looking at your phone or device

1. Depending on the device, the majority of phones will display a '3G' symbol on the screen, when in a 3G coverage zone
2. The corresponding signal strength will also be displayed, usually as a bar graph
3. If you see a '3G' symbol with five bars of signal strength, it means that you are in a 3G coverage zone with a strong signal
