Important information

  • If you are not in a Vodafone coverage area and your phone says there is no reception, you may still be able to make calls to emergency numbers (000 or 112) if there is any other network in-range
  • The service is also available while you are roaming overseas. If you dial 112 whilst roaming, your call will connect to that country’s local emergency services
  • It does not matter if you are a prepaid or a postpaid customer as calls to the emergency services are free from Vodafone phone
  • In Australia, you do not need a SIM card in your phone to make emergency calls, this is why you may see "Emergency Only" (or text to that effect) on the screen if no SIM card is in your phone
