How to apply for a Mobile Payment Plan (MPP)

Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) is an interest free and fee free mobile device payment plan. It allows you to get the mobile device you want, when you want.  You can purchase the handset, PDA and accessories of your choice and make easy payment instalments over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months.  MPP is available to new and existing contract and existing month-to-month credit approved customers. 

 

The minimum and maximum MPP amounts are:

Individual customers and/or sole traders:

Minimum: $100

Maximum: $2000

 

Business customers:

Minimum: $100

Maximum: $20,000

 

Step-by-step guide for new postpaid customers

Step 1

If you're a new Vodafone customer you can apply for a Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) by visiting your nearest Vodafone store

Step 2

Choose the mobile which suits you plus any accessories you want


Step 3

Ask your participating store to put your purchase on MPP

Step 4

The store representative will run a quick credit check to determine your maximum MPP amount. For consumer customers including sole-traders the maximum amount is $2000. For businesses the maximum amount is $20,000 (subject to a credit check)

Step 5

Choose your preferred payment term 6, 12, 18 or 24 months

Step 6

Choose your preferred method of payment - direct debit, credit card. Your MPP monthly instalment will be added to your Vodafone bill

Step 7

Lastly, complete all of the Mobile Payment Plan documents

 

Step-by-step guide for existing postpaid customers

Step 1

If you're an existing Vodafone Month to Month or contract customer, visit your nearest Vodafone store or contact Vodafone Upgrades on 1300 365 618

Step 2

You are eligible to have one Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) per active Vodafone mobile number provided that the total MPP amount is under your approved credit limit

Important information:

  • Only one mobile device per Vodafone mobile number is permitted

  • Accessories can be included under your MPP contract provided that the total MPP Amount doesn't exceed your credit level

  • Recharge Vouchers can't be purchased under MPP, but starter kits can

  • MPP is only available subject to credit checking. Conditions apply

  • MPP is only available from approved Vodafone stores

  • MPP is only available to credit approved applicants who connect to Vodafone Month to Month or on a contract
