Vodafone customers are able to block their lost or stolen mobile device from being used on any network (voice and text only)

This is part of an industry-wide initiative being rolled out to help reduce the problem of mobile phone theft. Once a device is reported as lost or stolen, its International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number can be blocked, making sure that it is rendered virtually worthless to thieves as it no longer works across all networks.
