Locate your IMEI
The IMEI number for your device is sort of like a serial number, and is used to identify the device you're using on our network. Any device that connects to our network has one, whether it be a phone, tablet or modem.
There's a few reasons you might need it:
The IMEI is usually listed on the box for your phone and the device itself, but there are ways to get the IMEI directly from the device. We'd recommend getting the IMEI directly from the device wherever possible, as it's more reliable (and often easier to read).
From your phone's dial screen, enter the following code: 0 6
Press the "call/dial" button.
The IMEI number will be displayed on the screen.
On your iPad, go to 'settings'.
Tap 'about', your IMEI is listed on this screen.
Make sure you're connected to your Pocket WiFi
In a web browser, go to your Pocket WiFi dashboard: pocket.wifi or 192.168.0.1.
Log into the dashboard with your password ('admin' is the default if you haven't changed it).
Click 'diagnostics', the IMEI is listed on this page under 'Pocket WiFi information'.
Make sure your USB modem is plugged in, and give it time to start up.
Open your Vodafone Mobile Broadband software, and click 'advanced'.
