Manage your postpaid account directly from your phone or tablet

The My Vodafone app can be used by Vodafone postpaid customers to view current usage, bills, payments and account details directly from a compatible phone or tablet (Apple® iPhone™, Apple iPad™, Android™ phone or Android tablet). The app also features a Vodafone store locator, network updates and access to help and support.

Vodafone prepaid customers can use the app to access our store locator, network updates and to contact us, but account details are not available through the app. If you are prepaid, you can still manage your account using My Vodafone on our website or through Vodafone Central.

Secure access to your account through the My Vodafone app

Access to the My Vodafone app is secure. Your personal and account information is protected by encryption. You can also choose to be automatically logged out when your session expires to reduce the risk of anyone else accessing your account through your phone or tablet if you leave it unattended.

How much it costs

Purchase of the application is free however download charges do apply for downloading from Android Market (Play Shop™) or Apple App Store™

The app is free to use for Vodafone customers excluding the following services where data charges apply based on your plan rates and your usage:

  1. Store locator
  2. Access to external/3rd party links including Vodafone YouTube
  3. Analytics to help us improve the service
  • Accessing the app from a non-Vodafone mobile - You can access the My Vodafone app from a non-Vodafone mobile, but will be charged for data usage by your mobile service provider as per your plan rate
  • Using the app while connected to Wi-Fi - When using the My Vodafone app over wifi, you will be charged for data usage by your internet service provider as per your plan rate
  • Using the app overseas while roaming - When using the service overseas, international roaming charges will apply

Getting started with the app

Step 1

Android:

Download the app to your phone or tablet from Android Play Store™.

The My Vodafone app is available to phones and tablets running Android 2.2 and above.

Apple:

Download the app to your iPhone or iPad from the Apple App Store.

You need to be running iOS 4.2 and above.

Step 2

You will need a My Vodafone account to access your billing and personal information through the My Vodafone app. You can register for My Vodafone directly from the app, or through our website.

Step 3

You need to enter your username and password in order to access your account details.

You have the option to ‘Remember me’, which allows you to access your account details through the My Vodafone app without having to log-in every time. Remember me will last for 65 days, after which you will be asked to enter your log-in details again.

If you have more than one service connected to your account, you will also need to enter your account PIN to access your account information, and details relating to the other services associated with your account.

Important information

Usage information is normally available within 24 hours however this may take longer in the event of system outages.

  • You can provide feedback by using the email facility in the application, posting in the self service section on our community forum, or providing feedback and ratings on the Apple App Store or Android Play Store™.
