There's no need to search websites or switch on the TV, the Cricket Live Australia app delivers score info straight to your phone or tablet.
Getting the app
You can download it for free download from the Australian Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It’s between a 6 and 10MB download and this data counts towards your usage. If you’re short of mobile data you might want to download it over Wi-Fi.
It should work on any device running Android 2.2 ‘Froyo’, or higher, or Apple iOS 5, or higher.
The app uses data to update scores and other info. This data isn’t free so check your plan if you’re not sure how your usage is charged.
Scores in the app
The app provides match scores, player statistics and series results including:
Overall match and team stats such as batting averages, match fixtures and rankings
Individual player statistics including ‘wagon wheel’ shot tracking, batting and bowling
Ball-by-ball commentary and the ability to use ‘Vodafone Viewer’s Verdict’ crowd opinion
Some of this scoring info won’t be available for all series and the frequency of score updates also depends on the series you’re following – check our support article
for full details.
If something’s not working, try closing the app and then restart your device. Make sure data is working (eg. check that you can load a page in your web browser) and then try the app again.
Another thing to try is uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If it’s still not working after that, get in contact with us through the ‘Additional Support’ feature in the app.
